In the Pocket NYC is a collaboration of independent musicians who teach as passionately as we play. 

 *In-The-Pocket is a term from the Jazz Era referring to

musicians who are ‘in the groove’

We support each other with a trusted reputation, professional development, networking, and a variety of performance opportunities for ourselves, our students, and our community. Each year we allocate a portion of event proceeds to a chosen organization. Past recipients include: GrowNYC, Sing For Hope, Musicians Without Borders, Concerts in Motion, and more.
