Kat Sherrell is a freelance pianist, musical director, and music teacher. She has a diverse musical background, with a BM in classical music, and extensive training and experience in jazz and other contemporary styles. In the musical theater world, Kat has worked with such projects as Broadway show In the Heights, improv troupe the Striking Viking Story Pirates, and Jaradoa theater. She is also a writer, and her musings on music and the process of learning it can be found on her website.
